Join our vibrant community with The Heart Strings, our adult ukulele group, or The Fingers of Fire, our energetic youth ukulele group. We also provide engaging music and movement classes like Bop Toddle and Kiddykeys, designed to inspire a love for music in our youngest learners. Come and discover the joy of music with us!
THE HEART STRINGS AND THE FINGERS OF FIRE
The Fingers of Fire, a youth ukulele group, was formed in January 2022 and was a roaring success. On the back of that, I started an adult ukulele group six months later. Both have performed at various and numerous local events since their formation and bring a lot of joy to the Cobar community, the members themselves and me.
New members are always welcome and, I promise, you will not regret it. Once you join a music ensemble, you will never look back.

I love what I do and it makes me so happy to be able to share my passion with others. Since starting as a professional music teacher and finishing my university degree in 2001, I’ve been privileged to see so many students discover their natural skills and abilities and reach results they never dreamed were possible. You will enjoy learning piano in a fun, loving and relaxed environment and be amazed as you and your child delve into music learning and all its benefits. Whether it is just for fun or you aim to take your skills to the highest level with AMEB exams (ALL grades), we have got you covered.
Bop & Toddle Babies is a music and sensory class for babies from birth to walking. We explore baby-friendly instruments and our voices, helping little bnes to find his or her love of music. Classes are 30mins which is perfect to continue to create that special bond with your baby in a safe and warm environment.
Bop & Toddle is a unique, multi-sensory music and movement class catering to 0-3 year old children. It is a structured program developed with the Early Years Learning Framework in mind and the intention of making music accessible to the very young. Each term has a different theme and musical concept, eg. rhythm, pitch, dynamics, tonal colour. It is a mixed-age class and the belief is that the younger participants will learn from the older ones who act as great role models.
Kiddykeys is a play-based piano-focused preschool piano program. Aimed at 3-5 year olds, it provides children with a perfect foundation in music through games, colourful story books and engaging activity sheets. Children will be taken through rudimentary musical concepts such as basic notation, keyboard geography and dynamics.
